	Experience I have been in Private Practice since 1987, providing psychoanalytic psychotherapy, counseling and art therapy for clients with a range of issues including: anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress, sexual abuse, addictions, life transitions, grief, loss and relationship issues. I have worked in provincial mental health centers both as: a Psychotherapist providing assessment and psychoanalytically informed individual and group psychotherapy to mental health patients suffering from depression, anxiety, addictions and personality disorders and an Art Therapist running groups for chronically mentally ill patients. I have also worked at sexual assault centers, and other non profit counseling agencies. I have trained and supervised Counselors at the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre and Art Therapists at Victoria Mental Health. I have taught Object Relations and Art Therapy; and Dream Work using Art Therapy at the British Columbia School of Art Therapy, Introduction to Psychopathology at the Vancouver College of Counselor Training, and I have been a teaching assistant at the University of Victoria for the Group Processes course. I have taught basic counseling skills to alternative health practitioners at Langara College.
